While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its entrance was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of stale beer and neglected washrooms permeated the entire establishment . Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , a rotting odor and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The lavatory was in even a truly awful state— clogged , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .
